The Junior Leagues of Washington State is the public affairs committee through which the Junior League communicates with policy makers regarding issues of concern in the community and state. The purpose of JLWS is to advocate in a united voice on issues important to all the state leagues and to educate, coordinate public affairs and legislative action on a statewide level, and address issues of concern to the five member leagues. JLWS is comprised of the Junior Leagues of Spokane, Seattle, Yakima, Tacoma, and Olympia. Currently JLWS is advocating for child care issues.
