This is a blues and jazz festival benefiting the community through the Yakima Greenway Foundation and Junior League of Yakima. Held each August since 1993 in Sarg Hubbard Park, the festival features blues and jazz music, award-winning local wines and microbrews, a delicious array of foods and desserts, and a silent auction.

Fresh from the Valley
Our focus in this cookbook is the four seasons, rejoicing in their great offerings as well as the flavors they bring to the palate. What we have to show you in this cookbook is a mere glimpse of what can be found in this rich, beautiful setting of the Northwest. Who does Junior League of Yakima help?
Proceeds from League fund-raising efforts support the purpose and programs of the Junior League of Yakima. A brief summary of how our efforts have benefitted the community presently and in the past include:
parent education (Super Storytime Saturday),
literacy (Books for Babies, The Valley Reads),
domestic violence (Domestic Violence Symposium),
immunizations (Super Shot Saturday Immunization Clinic),
child care (Yakima Day Nursery),
community scholarships for women, community grants, donations to the Capitol Theater, Allied Arts, Children's Village, Sarg Hubbard Tot Lot, Millenium Plaza, and the Yakima Valley Museum.
