JUNIOR LEAGUE OF YAKIMA INVITES SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS

Yakima, WA – The Junior League of Yakima is awarding two (2) scholarships of $3,000.00 each.  Scholarships will be awarded to women with ties to the Yakima area who are at least 25 years of age by the start of the 2009-10 school year and who have had a significant break in their education following high school graduation.  Applicants must be currently enrolled and pursuing an AA/BA/BS or similar degree, Voc Tech, or Graduate Degree, plan to pursue their careers in the Yakima Valley following graduation, and demonstrate financial need as interpreted by the Scholarship Committee.  Recipients agree to report back to the Junior League of Yakima in the fall of the following year.

Applications must be postmarked by April 15, 2009 and are available online at www.juniorleagueofyakima.org, at the Allied Arts office,
